TOP 10 KIWIS OF THE MODERN ERA

1. Ruben Wiki
A workhorse of all work horses the warrior king himself Ruben Wiki. The first kiwi to reach the 300 mark and has set the record for the most tests, 55. He recently captained the all golds in 2007 and lead the to victory.

2. Mark Graham
The former Warriors coach of 2 seasons and former second rower for the North sydney Bears. He was recently named Kiwi of the Century and was named in the Kiwis team of the century and North Sydney Bears team of the century.

3. Stacey Jones
Starting his career at five-eighth to allow Greg Alexander to play halfback, the 32-year-old played for the All Golds in the centenary year after earning a reputation as the best Kiwi half of the modern era.  Nicknamed the little general, he now has a position at the Warriors as halves coach.

4. Dean Bell
During his career he captained Wigan, the Auckland Warriors and the New Zealand national team. Since his retirement in 1996 he has been involved with the Leeds Rhinos First and Academy Teams (1996-1999), the Wigan Warriors youth development programme (2000-2006) and as of August 2007 is the New Zealand Warriors Development Manager. He is also the manager for the Warriors Under-20's side in the Toyota Cup.

5. Sonny Bill Williams
Although now not a part of our game, this guy was a machine. He has the mind of a srcum half and has devastating attack and defence. He recently played in the Centenary Test against the Aussies and led the negotiation for free admission, for Pacific Islanders, to Dog's and warrior's games, at ANZ stadium.

6. Tawera Nikau
Now a TV host on Maori TV sports show Code, "Big T", played for the Sharks and Storm and has played in the English Super League for Castleford & Warrington.

7. Stephen Kearney
After turning professional he played for the Western Suburbs Magpies, Auckland Warriors and the Melbourne Storm before finishing his career with Hull FC. Kearney represented  New Zealand, captaining them several times, and in 1993 he was the Kiwi's youngest Test captain.  Kearney is now assistant coach at the Melbourne Storm and has been named the New Zealand Kiwis head coach on a two-year contract.

8. George Napier
Made the switch from union to league and helped guide the "men in black" to a 17-16 victory over the Kangaroos.

9. Kevin Tamiti
Will forever be remembered as the man who boxed Greg Dowling after an 'incident of miscommunication' ... we'll leave it at that shall we for Greg's sake.

10. Benji Marshall
Yes, he's had his problems with the odd shoulder injury, but his commitment to play in the Centary Test makee him a worthy choice. His skill is without a doubt magnificent - skills not seen since Stacey Jones - his flick pass to Pat Richards in the 2005 grand final was fine example of his vision and skill.
