Bring a Footy to Fan Day

Thursday, January 31

Rugby League fans are being urged to bring a footy to the Harvey Norman Centenary of Rugby League Fan Day on Saturday for the once-in-a-lifetime chance to have a kick on ANZ Stadium.

The chance to kick the footy with family and friends on the field will be the finale to the biggest public fan day in Rugby League history in which the NRL’s top 400 players – representing all 16 clubs – will be together to join with fans in a range of activities, including coaching clinics, autograph sessions and reading and arts and crafts activities.

“The chance for families to be able to go on to the ground and kick the footy is a rare one and I hope our fans take the opportunity to enjoy that and the range of activities available as the build-up continues to the start of the Telstra Premiership,” NRL Chief Executive, Mr David Gallop, said.

Fans must register to be part of the fun.

To register, log on to www.nrl.com/fanday or ring the registration line on
02 9339 8550. An overview of activities on the day is also on the website.

Club membership, NRL merchandise marquees and registration booths for individual activities will be open from 12pm on the day between Gates G and H.

A gold coin donation to benefit Rugby League’s One Community charities will be collected on entry. Information on One Community’s charity projects is available on www.rugbyleague.com.au/onecommunity.

ANZ Stadium gates open at 1.30pm with activities running from 2.30pm-5pm.
