Dubbo’s Apex Oval will be home to the Toyota Centenary Trophy semi-finals this weekend following a dominant round of performances from Divisional sides last week in Round 3.
Illawarra, Canberra, Northern Rivers and Newcastle were all big winners at the weekend and will now face off for the right to contest the NSW final on June 21.
Awaiting the NSW winner will be the Townsville Stingers or the Gold Coast Vikings, who on June 14 will clash at Mackay Junior Fields in the Queensland final.
The Toyota Centenary Trophy will reach its climax prior to Game 3 of the Harvey Norman State of Origin series, where the NSW and Queensland winners will battle it out for the title of Australia’s best bush footy team.
Last week’s NSW Round 3 losers in Group 9, Group 19 and Group 11 will now contest the CRL Group Championship competition which hosts its semi-finals alongside this weekend’s Centenary Trophy matches at Apex Oval.
